The Aria AO-73 Classical Guitar is an exquisite instrument that transports you back in time to the 1970s, encapsulating the essence of the classic Spanish guitar. Its authentic appearance and rich, resonant tone make it an ideal choice for both beginners and seasoned musicians who seek an authentic and playable classical guitar experience.

The body of this guitar is crafted from solid Sitka spruce for the top and mahogany for the back and sides. The choice of these premium tonewoods results in a balanced and warm tone with excellent projection. The solid wood construction also ensures that the guitar will continue to improve with age, developing a unique character and tonal qualities over time.

The AO-73 features a traditional Spanish classical guitar design, with a wide, 52mm nut width and a 650mm scale length. This design provides ample string spacing for comfortable finger positioning and a rich, full-bodied sound. The guitar's neck is made of mahogany and is joined to the body with a traditional Spanish heel construction, ensuring optimal stability and strength.

The fingerboard is crafted from richly grained rosewood, providing a smooth and responsive playing surface. The guitar comes with 19 frets, allowing for easy access to the upper register, and features elegant pearl position markers to guide your hand.

The Aria AO-73 Classical Guitar is equipped with high-quality open-gear tuning machines, which ensure stable tuning and allow for fine pitch adjustments. The guitar also comes with a traditional classical guitar bridge, which transfers the vibrations from the strings to the body efficiently, contributing to the instrument's rich, resonant tone.

The guitar's finish is a natural, satin varnish that protects the wood while allowing its unique grain patterns to shine through. This understated, elegant design is not only visually appealing but also allows the guitar to breathe, enhancing its tonal qualities.

The Aria AO-73 Classical Guitar is an exceptional instrument that combines authentic vintage design with modern playability and high-quality craftsmanship. Details:

Has some light scratches, swirling in finish, pick marks and a few scuffs on the backside edges. Body has no bulging or cracks splitting wood. Not sure what wood used for the laminate but it is beautiful grains with a glowing deep finish like honey type shellac top coat. Went a head and put new set of Ernesto Paella Silver Black nylon strings installed with bridge beads for some extra sustain so I could play it more before listing.

Neck is secure in pocket. There is a name or something hard to make out stamped inside on bottom brace see last picture unable read. The refinish with out ever removing the bridge. 1970s Aria AO-73 Classical.

Very good solid foundation. Bridge is secure and level with no pull. Playable and sounds wonderful rich but needs attention. Rare as in I have had this one 7 years and found out zero info on it only seen other the net sold at an estate sale.

Early 70s before serial number stamping. Very nice multi ply bindings with excellent binding inlays around the sound hole see picture which I have not had any other Aria that detail than Concert class. Happy to answer any questions. Guitar is in overall good condition being sold as project.

Bought as a project around 2018 and never got to it. I have managed it a few times on some other classical's and will give the guitar correct string height last for decade or more. Made in Japan.
