The cedar is for the top and the sides and bottom are made of solid spell sometimes called spell mahogany. This is not included because the shipping cost would be more than the cost of the frame. The guitar sounds fine when played by itself in the traditional style.

I added a tapered hole at the bottom of the guitar so that it could be played with a cello endpin and a custom built resonance box. The resonating 'box' actually a wedge shaped cylinder is made with two types of solid cedar fine grain for the panel and medium grain for the outer panels.
The position of the guitar and the resonance box enhance the sound envelope that surrounds the player. This is a used 1967 Aria classical model A549 with resonating box and cello endpin.
Without the box or endpin. The guitar has a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides laminated, rosewood fret board, new tuners, bone saddle, and new high quality strings. I built a simple, flat wood en frame that attaches to the legs of a chair and the resonating box resides inside the frame. There is a small nick in the top of the resonating box and a repaired fabrication gouge near the lower rim see movie for details. The guitar also can be played with just the endpin and no box and there is still an increase in the sound envelope. Even though the guitar has wear marks there are no cracks anywhere.
If the set shown here does not sell I will re list the guitar again all by itself at a lower starting price. The guitar includes a soft, padded corduroy case.
