It sounds better than most original ramirez 1a guitars I have played. This guitar does not need carbon strings to sound great. The top is french-polished and guitar sounds amazing. The rosette was saved from original guitar and used for new top.

The top has a ramirez 1a bracing and is light sound lively as result. 75mm on the 6th string at 12th fret. These are among the most generic nylon strings available and allow guitar to bring out its voice without coloring it. If you are looking for a vintage ramirez 1a and cannot afford to spend 5 10 thousand on one, this guitar is great alternative at small fraction of the price.

This is a combination which hard to beat. It sounds significantly better than the original guitar even though was already a very nice sounding.

The saddle sticks out about 4mm on treble side and 5 bass side, so there is plenty of room to lower it further if desired. He did an amazing job at getting that done and this is the resulting guitar. The guitar has typical Spanish sound of a ramirez 1a with deep powerful bass and clear bell-like trebles that balance well.

It has more than enough volume and clarity with the most basic nylon strings. I bought this guitar a while ago and it needed repair to the bridge.

And what you get on top of that is a guitar with Luther-made french-polished Goth premium tuners aluminum rollers bearings to make tuning as smooth it gets.
