That its big selling point. Blows away bolt-on necks in this price range. Beyond that the good news is this guitar very solid. This guitar is an excellent main guitar, backup, slide tuned or student model.
I always bumped the pickup selector out of when played so this setup was good enough for rock and roll. Connect the switch if you want but it works fine anyway. It plays as good or better that my Les Paul special this guitar is a retro of more less. Solid straight set neck, nice frets, good tuners, the p-90 pickups are about perfect and it looks decent too.
Will tell you the bad news first: pickup switch had broken so I replaced it. At that point my soldering iron started to die so I just put together the three pickup wires connected could have favorite both pickups sound. Great guitar.
Both pickups work fine as is with the leads connected and that's sound I like.
