Its tone is a little 'darker', slightly less crisp than new modern rosewood spruce. Used the high 'e' 6 on guitar from one set for sample recording, rest of strings, guitar, are several years old. Picture shows two sets. Sale does not include either music or hanging guitar stands.
While I have not played it significantly or at all in several years remain fond enough of that took those two for me to decided surplus. While constructed from 'tone' wood it is exactly what one would expect to find in a brand name guitar. Wear on finger board demonstrates some serious use, but what ever benefit might be derived from vibrations of playing and traveling are now 'baked in' to the instrument. In excellent if not pristine shape.
