Details:

All the white on the bridge is African elephant ivory none is bone. The wings and each part of the bridge is exactly the thickness as hawser's. Indian rosewood is a little lighter than Brazilian rosewood, and the bridge transmits sound better.

I also enjoy working in wood, carving, and doing fine finish work in wood. Up for offer is a 50 r Cordoba classical guitar in really beautiful condition. The fingerboard is made of ebony.

I endeavor to answer them the best I can. For like reasons I chose a beautiful piece of Indian rosewood from which to make the bridge because this is what hawser put on his famous '37, and many experts. The case is a plush, leather, hard case which is in good condition.

It was made in spain in the Cordoba fits nicely into the case. For many years i've made guitars. It's not perfect, but near perfect. Sales are for the USA.

Happy buying. Even so, I love the classical guitar. Included is an affidavit of origin proving that the African elephant ivory that I used to make the nut and saddle on the guitar was legally obtained. I'm was a piano performance major in college, and the piano is really the instrument with which i've reached a level of accomplishment.

Bruno think that it is one critical key to that guitar's wonderful sound. The case has an end latch which is missing, one of five, but the other four closes the case very tightly and nicely. The end latch was missing when I bought it.

Using only diamond jeweler files, I leveled this plane without reducing any of the wood meaning I removed excess hardened glue and made the gluing surface perfectly flat without affecting the wood surface beneath.

When I received the guitar, the plastic bridge was completely off however, there was no damage whatsoever to the wood that was under the bridge, and the plane to which the bridge was attached was almost completely flat. This is my personal guitar, and I bought it new. It Hans't seen hard use in that I have taken good care of it and haven't reached a level of accomplishment.

I chose hawser's guitar because this 50 r is actually the exact size as hawser's famous '37 guitar, and the bridge that came off although plastic was exactly the size of hawser's. I put two month's work into this to assure it. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, and the top is made of cedar. This guitar has a really nice sound with nice overtones.

Over a two month period I was younger then and had time, I fashioned the bridge and saddle using only diamond jeweler's files out of Indian rosewood according to the specs for the Herman hawser guitar page 71 in Roy Cornell's book, making master guitars.
