Details:

The action setup makes it very easy to play less than 3mm treble side and 4 bass at 12th fret. This guitar puts any factory-made i've played to shame in both sound and build quality. The frets are in very good shape and have been polished leveled fingerboard conditioned.

It sounds better than most original ramirez 1a guitars from the same period I have played. Guitars with this kind of wood selection are either not made any more or cost many thousands dollars if in recent years. The neck is straight and there lots of room on saddle to go lower with action if needed. The guitar has typical Spanish sound of a ramirez 1a with deep powerful bass and clear singing moody trebles that balance well.

The guitar will come with a set of la Bella 850 gold nylon strings. There are no buzzing or play ability issues anywhere along the neck. The finish of guitar is in great condition with only a few marks on it dings top and one scratch back body.

The guitar has a very open and vibrant sound across all strings as well up down neck way to beyond 12th fret illustrated by recording below. The Kazuo Yairi cy series guitars from 1970s and early 1980are of much better quality in both sound build than later model's 19902000 These are among the most generic nylon strings available and allow guitar to bring out its voice without coloring or exaggerating it. Model CY-135 was one of the concert model's made by Kazuo Yairi at that time. If you are looking for a vintage ramirez 1a and cannot afford to spend several thousand on one, this guitar is great alternative at fraction of the price.

This model is identical in construction to cy-140 from the same time except for rosette and purling. This particular model has been discontinued for many years now. The guitar comes in a hard case excellent condition.
