Details:

This guitar features a solid spruce top with Japanese laminate rosewood back and sides. These amazing guitars were made by master Luther Ryoji Matsuoka for Aria in the early 1970 I have one in my private collection and its of go-to guitars. Japanese laminate consists of solid layers tone wood normally two layers bonded with natural resins for sound but better durability and crack resistance.

The truss rod works as it should. You can see it cosmetically, but its 100% solid. It has the signature oversized fret dots also and Grover tuners. Every single Matsuoka dreadnought I have had is spectacular and this no exception.

There is a crack that has been repaired underneath the bridge on face of guitar. Known primarily for his classical guitars he did build a handful of dreadnoughts in the 1970s and you should snag one if can. Its built in the of a Martin D-35 with 3 piece back.
