The bottom area around the sound hole has dried out causing a crack in the wood, with a dip from that drying of the wood and some loss flaking of the inlay around that sound hole. Offering this one owner 1961 Gibson model c 1 classical guitar. I do play and can attest to a nice sound from this Gibson.
It, like the guitar, shows use and marks. All of the latches work fine and the handle is strong. The original owner put her name tag inside the guitar, see photo, on a paper tag. The case was purchased with this guitar when it was new and has spent it's life with it.
I do not know if it is a factory Gibson case, which dates the guitar to 1961. In the 48 states, others please message for a quote. The neck is very straight, the string action is nice and low.
The body has normal use marks and cracking checking to the clear coat. There is one area that will need repair, see the last photo. I have chosen not to remove this.
The serial number on the back of the head stock matches the Gibson label inside and that is no. Other than that, the guitar is in nice condition for being 55 years old. I am offering this classic Gibson c 1 and case as is and as described, needing a repair.
