The frets are nicely finished, clean, smooth and polished. In most cases you cannot see where any repairs were done.

Specification top a solid spruce back side tiger maple binding maple rosette wood finish high gloss neck rosewood with abalone shell nut saddle ox bonehead machine testosterone's d'Dario exp16 string color natural all photos are of the actual guitar. Great piece for a budding luthier looking for a top repair to work on.

There is also a ding on the head stock. Acacia woodies similar to mahogany but has a clearer tone than the mahogany.

The back and sides are acacia.

These guitars come from the factory and have not previously been sold.

The set up allows for easy fretting of the strings. About mint strings mint strings also carries, new and refurbished guitars and mandolins. Our refurbished guitars may have had minor damage not always, factory finish flaws or were damaged during shipping.

Hard shell cases and guitars in hard shell cases are pack differently, but packaged well with padding and extra cardboard. Broken are still wrapped packaged well. If you would like guarantee FedEx ground, please choose that option under shipping.

Refurbish guitars unless noted, are serviced by a top level repair center.

We answer all messages the same day, in most cases usually within 2 hours. The sound is slightly warmer and slightly less defined than mahogany although still similar. These are talented individuals that care a great deal about the end product and they do amazing work.
