The input jack is the same as bottom strap button. Nu bone saddle. Given this is a guitar modified by the current and only owner, great find if you are looking for an affordable gig-ready classical nylon yourself, or your teenage child. Ashton is an Australian company which manufactures its affordable lines of guitars mainly in china.
6 nylon strings. The 9v battery is hidden wrapped in a Velcro inside body, at bottom of neck. The body is beautiful hi-gross blue. The neck and fingerboard are maple.
The top is spruce and body is basswood. There is a small dent on the right side of rosette see last photo, and couple dark specks which came from manufacturer second.
This is a well-loved used Ashton nylon guitar. I put anew set of d'Dario nylon strings about a year ago. Every detail I am explaining is shown in photos attached.
The tone is well balanced and resignation rich. The action is a bit high. The tone and volume are controlled by two separate dials which you can feel right behind sound hole, very discreet design. Surprising how good the quality of the guitar is considering low original price 90 retail was.
Plugged to an amp, the guitar sounds fantastic.
