Details:
They can still be seen upon close inspection. The are several hairline cracks on back but were repaired. Sound is traditional spanish, loud with great projection, sustain and resonance. After 67 years it should be reasonably stable.
Top structure is modified per Student reveres fan bracing. This guitar was made in 2000 as a Student-teacher project. The back is not book matched but cut from same wood so color uniform. Tone quality is bold, no wolf notes nor dead spots.
There are several minor imperfections expected on a learning exercise as this was. The head piece is tilted back more than normal and tuner shafts don't line up perfectly. The wood was first purchased in 1960 and is very seasoned but, grain figured which leads to stability problems.
Comes with new hard shell case. Overall construction is quite good but not perfect and shows a true organic, hand made charm. I refinished this guitar recently and felt was working on a very old.
