The fret board and bridge are rosewood. Tune it just like a standard bass e,a,d,g. It has laminate walnut top, back and sides that look really nice.

The built-in preamps has volume, bass, mid and treble controls plus a chromatic tuner with LCD display. I bought this new from a dealer just few months ago and its lot of fun to play.
