Made in taiwan republic of china. There's plenty of saddle to lower even more. The top is flat, and the bridge is not lifting.
Sound is mature with deep basses, well defined Midas, and piercing well focused trebles. Features solid fine to medium grained spruce top with distinctive figure.
Only manufactured between 1977 to some minor cracking in the bottom rear adjacent to the binding and minor cracking at the rear bottom binding. Rosewood bridge.
Condition some wear exists to portions of the first 3 frets. Wood binding top and back. This model also has a built in pickup with a plug in port to plug into your if so desired in the bottom strap pin I don't believe all250s model's came with the pickup.
String height at 12th fret nut width 52mm. Minor scratches on the head stock near the Yamaha logo. Scale 660mm. Minor wear minor scratches and scuffs due to it being played for 35 years.
Beautiful solid Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Mahogany or NATO neck.
Overall, still a nice guitar. The original msrp for the250s was the grain matches nicely.
