There are 2 or 3 nicks in the soundboard as you can see picture and light surface scratches. There are no cracks, the neck is true and minimal fret wear.

Top is solid cedar that has had over forty years to mature a silky smoky rich lustre tone, an almost indescribable true voice certainly rare and much sought after. Back and sides are rosewood. It takes many years for the solid soundboard to get this kind of tone. The grain is absolutely gorgeous.

They, simply said, do not make them like this new. The craftsmanship is second to none. This is a 1977 CY-125 nylon string classical.

Still a stunningly beautiful instrument in every sense of the word. Binding is multi layered and really sets this instrument apart. Comes with an excellent classical case.
