There are a few scuffs and scratches on the back of body as you would expect out 40 year old guitar. Upper 48 states only. After that they were made in Korea and then on to maybe Indonesia.

I bought this for my friend to learn how play on. They sent there finest craftsman over to japan work with the Japanese on martins standards in quality craftsmanship and result was some very well made, playing, sounding guitars.

It was made in most likely 1977, but this model G-140 only 77 and 78 japan. There is absolutely no damage to this fine piece. All these guitars were built by the standards of martin production teams USA.
